Well, admittedly, the majority of readers and posts on this website seem to be male. Hopefully your question can prod some female readers to respond. (Sadly, with the demise of the fully-featured forum system, it's not easy to find new posts to old articles, etc.)



That said, I fully admit the black remote is not very feminine (not going to say it's Geeky, though). However, I think what appeals is that it is more discreet. Almost all automobile remote fobs are black. Holding a little black thing with buttons on it is thus not as likely to attract attention as being unusual. Also, white by definition, reflects the full spectrum of light; black absorbs it. Again, less attention.

i agree with johnsteed that the black is not geeky. It's definitely not feminine,either and that's why i prefer the white remote. It has a classy look to it. It looks like something a Woman would own. Where as the black,while being discreet, is to "manly"looking and let's face it, this is not about us males but about the Women who own us. Having Mistress pull one of these, very obvious, remotes out in public for all to see can add to Her male's humiliation, especially when they see Her push a button and he comes running like a puppy.

mariposo's idea of a pink remote might be a good alternative to the white.

As for the lightning bolt,it should definitely be pink. Pink, traditionally, represents femininity and a lightning bolt represents power.

So what could represent a Woman's power and authority over us lowly males better than a pink lightning bolt?
