We're happy to be here though. In a moment we'll visit the battery manufacturer who needs to produce custom batteries to fit in the remote control. This is a minor issue but we're waiting for payment processing and rubber issues to be resolved so we're squeezing in as many things as possible including rubber electrode research, batteries, our grand plans for the courses, minor enhancements to the remote, and more. Being here really helps in getting samples quickly, being able to visit factories and so on.

Waiting for the right melting point cable to make sure this can be overmolded. Definitely going to announce this when we're sure we can create the part... please hang on a bit longer - cable's on its way between the factories.

Custom Batteries? Wasn't it decided before not to go with custom batteries to .. you know.. allow your customers to replace them?

Not sure - that may have been the case at some point. Maybe you are talking about when the 24V pack was exchanged with the step up circuitry. Or when we were able to use two CR-2032. But battery life then was less than a month, as opposed to 3-4 months. Presently the remote uses a standard battery size with a standard connector but the leads must be very short so it must still be custom created - no other way to get that slim form factor. The receiver uses a very special spiral type li-ion battery that has high pulse power and large capacity, and a standard connector which again is custom mounted to save space.
