Hi. Thanks for your purchase and glad you like this device. When the timer is set, the remaining time is stored on the server. The widget uses this value to display the countdown on the widget. So even if the ChronoVault is disconnected, the timer will continue to run. If you're experiencing anything different, can you mail us the steps you've taken to replicate this and we'll take a look. We've just tested the widget and it seems to be working normally.
Does this mean that chronovault has a battery to keep timer running in case of being disconnected from computer or power outage? If so, how long does it last? Also, has this been tested under an application like Teamviewer? What happens to settings if computer crashes & has to be reformatted & software reinstalled? Can device be "shared" between two computers?
I just ordered one of these for myself. Would I be correct in assuming that this device pulls power from USB port, like a rechargeable pack? Also, is there a "Master" password in case whoever I am playing with becomes unreachable or makes an absurd setting? I assume since I am purchasing this, I can send a reset request or something like that?
Download DL Uplink Installer. Start the application and go to the help menu, it will then open. Or find the dl2k.chm file within the files after installation.
I've had the widget running for over 48 hours now, and it is showing the correct times. Not sure if I previously did something wrong or if something got tweaked, but it's working properly now. Thanks!!
