Permissions allow you to select other users to have privileges on a particular device. Most likely you will not need this, it's for advanced setups with more than 2 participants.
Not a particularly helpful response. I would like to know what the difference is for the ChronoVault between basic commands and full command set. The documentation covers this only for the DreamLover 2000
Ok - so you are asking the difference between basic and full permissions on the ChronoVault in the context of the controller of the device (remote user) assigning these permissions to a 3rd party.
These permission levels are there for forward compatibility and for compatibility with the DL2000. However due to the simplicity of the ChronoVault, basic and full permissions are identical. The distinction between basic and full is only meaningful for the DL2000.
